Hound Dog started out with a product that was fashioned from parts that were cut and shaped out of a car hood. It had prongs on the end that easily pulled weeds from a standing position.  The inventor had a back injury and was looking for an easy and effective way to remove weeds from his yard without straining his back or using chemicals. Thus, the Weed Hound was born.
